Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant – Support
The successful candidate will demonstrate overall knowledge of ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations’ and have successfully completed implementation and post implementation support projects. The candidate will work alongside the D365 implementation team and provide implementation and post implementation support for global rollout.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide post implementation support to end users onsite and offshore
- Handle incoming support issues via our ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of issues, escalating when necessary
- Participate in and manage customer support-focused projects
- Proactively address daily operational concerns
- Become highly proficient with using Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Troubleshoot and analyse application-related issues and solve problems
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with “customers”.
- Provide continuing education to “customer” on how to effectively use Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Document “customer” inquiries and reported problems and provide feedback and resolutions implemented.
- Collaborate with other cross-functional team members to discuss “customer” issues and resolutions and to share best practices.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participate in special projects and system testing as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education:
- University Graduate with a relevant degree within a computational discipline
Skill:
- Implementation experience of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations including appropriate certification.
- Good skills in all other functional capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics technical landscape – Including PowerApps and SharePoint.
- Excellent work ethic and customer service orientation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and sequence work to deliver best possible service with resources available
- Ability to deliver quality service and problem-solving skills remotely to clients and communicate complicated concepts in a concise and articulate way.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish & Basic English)
Knowledge:
- Demonstrable knowledge of Dynamics 365 ERP best practices including master data management and security implementation adopting segregation of duties.
- Working knowledge of finance practices for GL, AR and AP.
- Good understanding of architectural patterns such as web, thin client, thick client and cloud.
- Experience of physical commodities business
Experience:
- 5+ years of Dynamics AX/365 ERP post implementation support projects
- Previous customer support experience in a Software Support/Application Support environment is preferred
